For 25 years, Kendrick Rustad has been committed to an authentic creative platform, comprised of a solid education in art, architecture, furniture and interior design history, as well as knowledge of materials, manufacturing and a trusted network of sources.
Global travels all over Europe, China and Russia with entrepreneurial grandparents exposed Kendrick Rustad to fine art and development at a young age, and influenced a lifelong passion for good design.
Early on, Rustad experimented with wood working, glass blowing and jewelry making.
He studied at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, cultivating innovation as part of social and environmental responsibility. “Architecture reflects the culture,” says Rustad.
While staging luxury homes for AGI Capital, Kendrick honed his skills and eye for lifestyle design. Quickly grasping that people crave experiences within their environments, he fashioned atmospheric spaces at trendy Bay Area hot spots including The Ambassador, Le Club and Ten Bella. Kendrick’s work has been featured in The New York Times and Allure.
After a move to Los Angeles, Kendrick identified a niche in the downtown housing market and developed an all-inclusive design service providing instant luxury lifestyle gratification for busy entrepreneurs accustomed to curated experiences, delivery services and meal kits.
Launched in 2018, the service, MrKRX, offers uniquely styled, complete concept packages for one and two bedroom apartments, loft living and penthouses. Eliminating time consuming and frustrating activities of measuring, picking out furniture, waiting for vendors, choosing a color palate, buying and hanging art, individuals can seamlessly move into their homes.
Active in the downtown Los Angeles community Rustad sits on the board of Saving All Kids, a non-profit devoted to offering programs and assistance to help at risk youth build character and develop a sense of value.
